Sandcastle Competition
Public intervention, 2024.
150 oyster shell shaped sandcastle buckets distributed to local people in Stranraer. The largely disused coastline was transformed with people of all ages coming together to play and find inspiration from their native oyster beds. The landscape was soon transformed into a mass display of everyday creativity and celebration of local site-specific ecologies.
